Online advertising up by 10%

Dutch firms spent almost €40m on online advertising in the second quarter of this year, bringing growth in the first half of this year 10.3% compared to the same 2006 period.

Telecoms firms were the biggest spenders followed by financial services, media, hotels and catering and retailers. Some 62% of spending went on traditional buttons and banners.
