Krajicek loses to Sharapova in third round
Holland’s Michäella Krajicek is out of the Los Angeles tennis championships after losing in the third round to the number one seed Maria Sharapova.
Krajicek lost to the Russian 6-7, 7-6, 4-6 after three hours. ‘I think that I missed a couple of chances but it’s difficult against a player like Maria who doesn’t give away that many,’ Krajicek told ANP news agency.
