German football club HSV has ordered FC Valencia to leave Dutch international Rafael van der Vaart alone, threatening to call in the world football authority FIFA if the Spanish club does not stop trying to poach the player.

According to German news agency reports on Friday, the Hamburg team has sent a letter to Valencia with copies to the German football authority and FIFA stressing again that they do not want to sell Van Der Vaart.
The Dutch player has made no secret of the fact that he wants to play for Valencia. According to the German media earlier this week, the Spanish team has offered €14m for Van der Vaart.
On Wednesday he missed Hamburg’s qualifying match for the UEFA Cup against Budapest because of a back injury.
