Gangs battle it out in Den Bosch

A massive street fight broke out in a residential area of Den Bosch on Monday night between two gangs of youths, each about 30 strong. One youngster needed treatment for a head wound and was arrested.

Police found sticks, glass and several bullet shells on the street.
The fight first broke out around 11 pm, but police were not called until fresh fighting began. When they arrived just before midnight the fight was over and the gangs had dispersed. ‘It was short but heavy,’ a police spokeswoman told Tuesday’s Volkskrant.
