CVC goes ahead with Univar offer
Venture capital group CVC has made a formal bid of €53.50 a share for chemicals distribution group Univar. CVC first said it wanted to take over the company at the beginning of July, and Univar’s biggest shareholder Hal Holding, has already agreed to tender its shares.
