Transport privatisation vote Thursday
Ministers still have to tackle the thorny issue of contracting out public transport services in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague, junior transport minister Tineke Huizinga said on Thursday.
Current Dutch law states the four big cities have to put bus and tram services out to tender but a majority of MPs is now opposed to this.
Experts say metropolitan transport services are exempt from EU competition rules. MPs will vote on the issue later on Thursday.
