Netherlands slips on single market rules
The Netherlands is slipping further down the rankings of countries that have implemented EU guidelines on a free single European market, according to statistics published today by the European commissioner for internal markets Charlie McCreevy.
Holland is now behind on the implementation of 26 guidelines compared to 17 six months ago. Only eight other countries have a worse track record.
