Climate neutral air travel more popular
The number of Dutch travellers who take action to neutralise the environmental effects of travelling by air is growing fast, according to the Volkskrant on Tuesday.
The two Dutch companies active in this field, Trees for Travel and Greenseat, told the paper that 110,000 people will off-set their plane journeys by investing in environmental projects in 2007. The firms expect their turnover this year to increase by at least 400%.
