Unemployment hits four year low

The Dutch official unemployment rate fell to a four-year low of 4.7% in the period March to May, compared with 5% between February and April, says national statistics office CBS.


The fall is equivalent to some 7,000 people. The biggest drop in unemployment was among people aged 25 to 44, where the unemployment rate is now 3.8%, the CBS said.
