Iran trade mission: no regrets say firms
The 10 firms that took part in the controversial trade mission to Iran have no regrets although the political uproar over the visit resulted in one bourse listed company to pull out of the trip, reports news agency ANP.
Following an emergency parliamentary debate earlier this month, junior economic minister Frank van Heemskerk withdrew the government’s €60,000 subsidy for the mission. But this did not put off Dutch Centre for Trade Promotion which organised the trip.
Businesses are entitled to apply for state guarantees for export credits on major orders, said ANP.
