High failure rate for corporate IT projects

At least half of IT projects launched by corporate Holland fail totally or in part, according to the latest ICT Barometer from Ernst & Young.


In particular, there are problems with two-thirds of software projects to manage customer services, the survey shows.
Some 37% of all projects fail due to technical problems, 30% because they don’t meet customer expectations and 11% turn out to be too expensive.
