Air France-KLM confirms talks with VLM

Air France-KLM confirms it is in talks with Belgian airline VLM, news agency ANP reported on Tuesday. However, a spokesman told the news agency it was too premature to talk of merger plans.

VLM flies from 12 destinations, including Groningen, Rotterdam and Amsterdam and focuses on the business market.
The Telegraaf reports that Air France wants to fold VLM into KLM City Hopper and Air France Regional to create Europe’s biggest regional airline.
