New rules for skilled migrants

The cabinet will discuss plans tomorrow to make it easier for skilled migrants from outside the EU to work in the Netherlands, ANP reported on Thursday.

Social affairs minister Piet Hein Donner wants to lower the minimum income needed to qualify for the scheme (currently €45,000 a year) and give migrants up to a year to find work.
