Wassenaar has richest neighborhood

Wassenaar, Bussum and The Hague have the richest neighbourhoods in the country, according to a survey by the government’s statistics office CBS. With an average annual household income of €60,000, Wassenaar’s De Kieviet district tops the list.


At the bottom is Vrijheidswijk-West in the northern province of Leeuwarden. Here the average annual household income is €11,500. The national average is just over €20,000.
