Traumatised war veterans demand compensation

A group of 125 Dutch army veterans who became traumatised during a mission are going to court in pursuit of a multi-million euro compensation package.

The soldiers claim the defence ministry did not look after them properly and that they now suffer from post-traumatic stress. Many have lost their jobs.
Personal injury law firm Pals Groep, which is representing the veterans, says it will be suing for compensation for loss of earnings.
