Prince crashes during Easter races
Prince Pieter-Christiaan was involved in a crash with another driver during the BMW 130i races at Zandvoort on Monday. The prince was unhurt but his car was badly damaged. The other car flipped over after the incident but the driver was also unharmed, a track spokesman said.
Pieter-Christiaan and prince Bernhard are both taking part in the BMW event as part of Racing Team Oranje led by experienced drivers Jan Lammers and Allard Kalff. Both of queen Beatrix’s nephews have some experience in racing over longer distances.
