‘France too dominant in NYSE merger’
The merger between the New York stock exchange and pan-European bourse group Euronext has provoked complaints in Amsterdam and London that Paris is becoming too dominant, the Financieele Dagblad reports on Monday.
Anonymous sources told the paper that Euronext chairman Jean-Francois Théodore had focused on a federal, horizontal structure during the merger talks but was now developing a Paris-New York axis.
