Former PM Wim Kok sees income rise 18%

Labour party chairman Michiel van Hulten is ‘unhappy’ at the 18% pay rise received by former Labour prime minister Wim Kok because of his membership of a number of company supervisory boards, reports today’s Volkskrant.


But it’s too easy to say Kok should have refused the increase, Van Hulten said. Ten years ago, Kok himself accused Holland’s business executives of ‘self enrichment’ because of their ‘excessive’ pay rises.
