Arrest in drug baron murder case
Police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting of drugs baron and property magnate Kees Houtman, NOS news reported on Wednesday.
The arrest follows a closed session of the trial of suspected crime boss Willem Holleeder who is charged with blackmailing four people, including Houtman. The hearing was closed to hear evidence from an anonymous witness.
Meanwhile police have received dozens of tips about a car with a missing rear windscreen, thought to have been used to fire two grenades at the court building where the Holleeder trial was due to be held on Monday morning.
