Van Gaal tipped for Australia job
AZ Alkmaar trainer Louis van Gaal is being tipped to take over as the Australian national coach and Football Federation Australia has confirmed that talks have taken place. However, Van Gaal told Australian TV channel SBS that he wanted to win the World Cup, and hinted that he had had other offers.
‘I have to choose because I always want to win. I don’t think it’s possible to become world champion with the Australian team,’ he told the broadcaster.
