Staff encouraged to stay at home
More people should work from home for at least part of the week, in order to stimulate economic growth, according to the VNO-NCW on Tuesday. The employers’ federation wants at least half of the 4 million working people to stay at home for one or two days each week.
With more tele- and flexi-working, traffic jams would return to 2000 levels and a shortage of staff due to the strengthening economy would be avoided, the VNO-NCW says.
