Slight rise in Cito test results
Average results in Cito exams were up this year, the examination board said today. The average score was 535.1, up one tenth on 2006. Nine children made no mistakes, and 45 made only one mistake.
The multiple choice test is taken by most children in their last year at primary school and is used to determine what sort of secondary school they will go to.
