Pension funds open on investments
Four of the Netherlands biggest pension funds are to make their investments public after a tv programme at the weekend revealed millions of euros had been put into cluster bomb and land mine producers.
Peter Borgdorff of the pension scheme association told a tv discussion programme on Monday night that ABP (civil servants), PGGM (health service), Spoorwegepensioenfonds (railways) and PME (heavy engineering) had all agreed to publish their investment strategies on their websites.
