NAC puts PSV out of Dutch football cup

NAC Breda scored a surprise 3-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven last night, to put the league leaders out of the Dutch football cup. PSV coach Ronald Koeman was forced to bring in Philip Cocu and Arouna Koné after Edwin de Graaf scored for NAC just three minutes into the second half.

Amsterdam’s Ajax proceed smoothly into the semi-finals with a 2-0 win over Willem II of Tilburg. AZ Alkmaar is also through after a 2-1 win over Utrecht. RKC Waalwijk reach the semi-finals for the first time with a 1-0 victory over Roda JK Kerkrade.
Ajax and RKC will meet in their semi-final at the Amsterdam Arena on March 18. AZ Alkmaar will take on NAC at home a day later.
