Computer voting virtually problem-free

The public could cast their vote at over 10,000 polling stations in yesterday’s provincial government elections including, for the first time, Rotterdam’s Euromast. There were problems with voting computers (in total 8,500) at around 22 locations.


But voters were less inclined to turn to the internet (stemwijzer) for advice on how to vote – only 500,000 did so compared to 4.7 million for the national elections in November. Turnout was just over 46%
