Ballast Nedam more than doubles earnings
Construction group Ballast Nedam doubled its net profit to €44m last year, due to a sharp increase in turnover at its infrastructure unit and a tax windfall.
Turnover rose from €1.2bn to €1.3bn. The company is forecasting further growth in its infrastructure activities this year but a less rosy picture at its building unit.
