NL ambassador new EU Africa envoy
The EU has appointed the Dutch ambassador to Afghanistan, Roeland van de Geer, as its new special envoy to central Africa, including Congo, Ruanda and Burundi, news agency ANP reported. Before his Afghan posting, Van de Geer was an Africa specialist at the Dutch foreign affairs ministry.
