New football contract for BAM
Construction group BAM’s Interbeton subsidiary has won a second contract to build a stadium in South Africa for the 2010 football World Cup. The joint venture with South African firm Grinaker involves the building of the multi-purpose Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
Interbeton and Grinaker are also involved in building the Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg.
