Asylum seekers face risks going home

Special care needs to be taken about the way failed asylum seekers are handed over to the authorities in their country of origin, the national ombudsman Alex Brenninkmeijer said on Tuesday.

In particular, they should be told what information about them has been passed on to officials so they can assess if there are any risks involved, the ombudsman said.
The ombudsman’s report follows complaints from four failed asylum seekers.
