Wind turbine output reaches record

Dutch wind turbines produced a record amount of electricity in November – 384 GWh, or 4% of national energy needs – the national statistics office CBS said on Monday. The old record dated from January 2005, when 341 GWh was generated. Capacity has gone up 40% since the old record was set but there was less wind, the CBS said.
