Organon teams up with AMC on rheumatism
Akzo Nobel subsidiary Organon is to work with Amsterdam’s AMC teaching hospital on developing a new treatment for rheumatoid arthritis and possibly other diseases, Organon said on Wednesday. .
Organon is to continue research and development for the treatment, which was initially developed by the AMC, and will have an exclusive licence to market it. Financial details were not disclosed. One in 10 Dutch people suffer from some sort of rheumatism.
