Fifty-five is old say Dutch bosses

On average, bosses describe workers as ‘old’ when they reach 54.6 years, according to research carried out for the Ministry of Social Affairs. In 2005, 51.5 years was deemed to be ‘old’. Employees themselves say they hope to carry on working until they reach an average of 61.7 years.
