The body of a young woman was discovered on the A4 motorway close to the
Roelofarendsveen exit in the early hours of Tuesday morning. According to media reports the woman fell out of a van but it is unclear whether her death was an accident or the result of a crime.

The driver of the van, a 24-year-old man from Almere, was found by the victim and was being questioned by police. The motorway in the direction of Amsterdam was closed for several hours while police investigated the area.
