VNU to cut 10% workforce

VNU, the former Dutch publishing group now owned by private equity, is to cut its 42,000 workforce by 10%.

A number of Dutch and other European magazines, including Intermediair and Management Team, have also been sold to private equity group 3i. VNU now employs just under 700 people in the Netherlands, based at its Haarlem administrative HQ.
