Refugee lobby group VluchtelingenWerk said on Thursday it was pleased that a step had been taken to stop the deportations. But the group said it was totally unclear who would be allowed to stay and who would be deported.
The organisation said it hoped more would become clear during the parliamentary debate today. Families with children will no longer be deported, nor will other groups of people on humanitarian grounds. But what did this mean for people with no children?, the organisation asked.
