Philips art collection raises €5.7m
The private art collection of Frits Philips, who died last year, raised €5.7m, Sotheby’s reports. Sotheby’s had expected the auction which included silver, ceramics, jewelry and furniture to raise €4m. Frits was the son of Anton Philips, who founded the consumer electronics company.
