Film subsidy structure revamped
The €20m set aside to subsidise Dutch film production is to be divided into two next year, said culture minister Maria van der Hoeven in a letter to MPs yesterday. Some €13m will be given to films with a minimal private investment of 25% – a irrespective of their artistic quality – and €7m for so-called ‘artistic’ films.
