Belgian supermarket group Colruyt has applied for seven operating licences in the Netherlands, the Financieele Dagblad reports today.


The discounter has been rumoured to be interested in the Dutch market for years. The three border provinces of Zeeland, Noord-Brabant and Limburg will be the first to get Colruyt stores.
