Verdonk calls for action on ‘black’ schools

Integration minister Rita Verdonk announced on television chat show Pauw & Witteman last night that she would like to compel more [white] parents to send their children to so-called ‘black’ schools.

Verdonk, who has said she would like to be Education Minister in the next cabinet, said the Liberals (VVD) wanted to encourage the development of more mixed schools.
