Upper class students study abroad

Upper-class students and those from wealthy families are more likely to spend part of their university career abroad, according to the 2005 Studentenmonitor. The monitor is based on a poll of 40,000 students.

Of all students, 64% said they planned to study abroad – but only 14% actually do. Financial difficulties are cited by 25% as a reason not to go to a foreign university.
