Tax deal boost for Schiphol group

The Schiphol Airport Group is to book an extraordinary gain of €370m in the second half of this year. The one-off sum follows an agreement reached between the airport operator and the Dutch tax office over its opening balance sheet.

Although the group has been liable for corporate income tax since January 2002, it’s only just agreed with the tax authorities what should appear on its January 1, 2002 balance sheet.
