Health insurance merger scrapped

The proposed merger between three of the country’s biggest health insurers – Menzis, Agis and Delta Lloyd – has fallen apart after Menzis shareholders voted against the plan.


The shareholders were unhappy at losing control. Delta Lloyd said in a statement that it would continue to ‘explore opportunities in this market.’
