CDA support down among minorities
Support for the Christian Democrats amongst non-western immigrants has fallen by 25% – with just 7% still prepared to vote for the CDA, according to the latest poll on minority voting habits from Foquz.
In particular, people of Surinamese descent have deserted the party after prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende called for a return to the spirit of the VOC (Dutch East India Company) – which many identify with slavery.
