The seaside resort of Kijkduin has appealed to the makers of mobile phone game Pokemon Go to take steps to reduce the number of Pokemon appearing in the vicinity.
The small town has become the Pokemon capital of the Netherlands but wants game maker Niantic to reduce its popularity, particularly in the evenings. They also want action to keep players out of the vulnerable dune area which is becoming damaged by so many visitors.
The town has already brought in extra wardens and put up more toilets and waste bins to cope with the crowds.
