Bert van Marwijk has been appointed as the new coach of the Saudi Arabia national team on a one-year contract, with the aim of taking them to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Former Oranje coach Van Marwijk has been without a club since leaving Hamburger SV in February 2014. He has previously trained Fortuna Sittard, Feyenoord, Borussia Dortmund and HSV.
Mark van Bommel, Adrie Koster, Roel Coumans and journalist Taco van den Velde are joining Van Marwijk as assistent trainers and operations manager.
The Dutchman, who is 63, is the fourth Dutch coach for the Saudi national team. Leo Beenhakker, Gerard van der Lem and Frank Rijkaard all had the job before him.
