Saudi petrochemical firm Sabic to invest €135m in Limburg
Saudi company Sabic is to invest an additional €135m in its petrochemicals plant in Geleen, Limburg, news agency ANP reported on Thursday.
Sabic is 70%-owned by the Saudi state. The aim of the investment is to make the Dutch Sabic operations more competitive and environmentally-friendly. Production will also be improved, the company said.
Sabic produces raw materials for plastics production in Geleen and has a workforce of 2,000 in the region.
