Netherlands a world leader in broadband

Four out of five Dutch households had a broadband internet connection in 2008, and that figure is set to rise to 88% by 2013, according to new research from IT consultancy group Gartner.

Only South Korea has more high-speed internet. There 86% of households had a broadband connection last year, Gartner said.
Denmark, Hong Kong and Canada complete the top five.
