Lap top sales surge thanks to holiday cash
The sale of laptop computers soared 61% at the end of May, compared with the year-earlier period, news agency ANP reports on Tuesday.
The sales came as millions of workers received their annual holiday money – an extra month’s salary – in their May pay packages.
In total, 18,500 laptops were sold between May 19 and May 26, ANP said.
