Fewer New Year resolutions made

Only 42% of the population has used 2009 as an excuse to make New Year resolutions, according to a TNS Nipo poll for RTL news. Last year, 51% did so.


Of those with plans, 58% say they want to enjoy life more. Doing more sport is the second favourite resolution, followed by losing weight. Just 4% of the population as a whole plan to stop smoking.
