Rem Koolhaas designs Prada museum

Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas is designing a museum to house the modern art collection of fashion house Prada, according to the website of his company Office for Metropolitan Architecture.

The project is due to be completed in 2011.
Designer Miuccia Prada and her husband have a substantial art collection and have acquired an old brandy distillery and its grounds in Milan. Koolhaas, who designed a Prada shop in New York, is creating three buildings for the site, including a tower with exhibition space.
